The next meeting for Chapter 15 will be held on January 16, 2016 at Pok-e-Jo’s, 2121 Parmer, Austin TX. The meeting will begin at 10:00 am and run until 12:00 noon. The program will be about the restoration of a historical American tall case clock.
The program will have technical information as well as history for the clock itself. Everyone is invited and admission is free. After the meeting all are welcome to stay and enjoy lunch at Pok-e-Jo’s where more discussion about horology abounds.

A training class for basic clock repairs will be held on 11-7-15 at the Windermere Clubhouse, 16800 Gower, in Pflugerville TX beginning at 9:00 am and running until 4:00 pm. The class is $25 for members and $40 for non-members.

The All Texas Chapters Regional will be held on August 20 – 22nd at the Marriott Westchase in Houston TX. This is a large gathering of clock collectors who buy and sell horological items while providing free educational programs to everyone on horology.

The July 25th Program - Turn the Beat Around by Ken Reindel; 10 a.m. – noon at Pok‐e‐Jo’s, 2121 Parmer Ave., Austin TX. The information is about understanding the beat of a clock and how to determine many things about a clock from the beat. This is a great item for the collector as well as those who want to do limited repair on clocks. The meeting is free to the public and everyone is invited to attend.

July 12th at 6:00 p.m. the NAWCC Webinar “On the Clock: Changing the Industrialized World” by Kim Jovinelli will be streamed. To see this informational discussion you will need to to to the NAWCC website (www.NAWCC.org) and register. There is no cost to register.
